I am a hobbyist. Photography has been an interest of mine since buying my first SLR (the Canon AE-1P) back in 1984. At the time I was in high school and didn't know the first thing about designing an image. In the time since then, I have bought and sold a few cameras, run a temporary b&w darkroom out an apartment bathroom and had a 10 year absence from the hobby.

My interest lies in creating images of social commentary (although I have been known to do event and travel photography along way).
